Just as we believed the situation couldn’t deteriorate any further, it did! After losing a robe, a part of the band’s costumes, and a bag containing all the important documents at different events, Melanie faced misfortune once again this week. This time, a hair accessory was stolen!
Yesterday, Mel’s friend and stylist, Stella, who portrayed the mother in the “Dollhouse” and “Sippy Cup” music videos, expressed her frustration on Snapchat. Stella designs many of Mel’s outfits for the tour and also wears clothes from her own fashion line. During a performance, she placed a heart-shaped accessory in Mel’s hair that she had personally created. Unfortunately, the accessory fell out during the first song, and despite Stella’s efforts to find it, it remained missing. A few days later, Melanie received a photo of a tweet from a girl who claimed to have found the accessory. Stella reached out to the girl, but unfortunately, the item was not returned despite numerous attempts.
It is truly disheartening to witness these incidents occurring so frequently, not to mention the fact that it is illegal. While Martinez has not addressed the situation yet, we can anticipate a strongly worded message from her in the near future, as is customary.
