The Predator 17 convinced with an impeccable processing, high labor and games pace and a great variety of equipment. The shortcomings included the loud under full load operating noise, the high weight and the somewhat scarce battery life – characteristics that have many powerful gaming notebooks. Heavy weight and large dimensions are typical features for gaming notebooks. Acer’s Predator 17 is no exception: It brings impressive 4.15 kg on the scales and takes the place of an A3 sheet. But it’s also not a standard notebook – which already makes the chic, trimmed on gaming design clearly. At the processing, there was nothing to complain about in the test: Everything fits and fits, nothing creaks or loose.
